Does Any One Own A Bumbleride Stroller?
I’m specifically wondering about the Bumbleride Flyer, but if you have any stroller by Bumbleride, I’d also like your opinions on the stroller. Do you like it? Is it worth the money? One thing that’s really important is whether or not the back of the seat sits straight up. The stroller I have now doesn’t, and my daughter doesn’t like it. My daughter is 5 months old, and I would like this to be the last stroller I buy, considering the price. Is it durable? Any thing else you would like to tell me about the stroller would be appreciated. Thank you in advance!

I have a Bumbleride Indie and I love it. It does sit straight up (although my 9 month old likes to have a slight recline). When we got ours, the sun shade was not as good as the one on the store display model (which I’ve heard is a common problem) the store (USA Baby) exchanged it out for us and we haven’t had a problem since.
My son loves this stroller, he is so comfortable in it. I can steer it one handed, it handles all terrains well, and the sunshade is fantastic. I totally think it was worh the money.
I don’t like it very much. It’s nearly identical to the Graco and Evenflo strollers, but with a few fancier parts. I’d get a Maclaren and call it a day. Maclarens fold smaller, are more durable, and hold kids to higher weight limits. If you like the style, etc of the Gracos and this particular Bumbleride, then I’d go with a Peg Perego Pilko. It’s closer to that style than the Maclaren, but it’s far more durable than the Bumbleride Flyer.
I’d recommend Maclaren to anyone needing a stroller–they are a smooth ride, push really easily, and maneuver well.
EDIT: The Uppa Baby stroller is great, but the weight limits aren’t as high as the Maclaren strollers. The price of the Uppa Baby is double the price of the Bumbleride and the Maclaren is a hundred dollars less than the Bumbleride. I wouldn’t get the Eddie Bauer stroller. They’re junk after a few months–they’re made by Cosco… pretty much the worst brand on the market for baby gear.
EDIT: Depending on the version of the Maclaren you get, it reclines nearly flat for a nap. Plus, you can get the sun parasol accessory which is better than a regular sunshade, as you can adjust it so it perfectly covers your baby at all times. The Quest Mod, Quest Sport, Techno XT, and Techno XLR all have a sun parasol and recline to 4 positions, so I’m not exactly sure what the problem is…a sun parasol which attaches to the side is MUCH better than a standard canopy that only goes down so far. It funny you mention you had to buy a new stroller because as did I. My daughter is 4months old and hated her stroller. We don’t have a Bumbleride but we do have a Uppa Baby stroller! You should really check those out. It sits straight up or it can lay down. It folds quite small and the wheels come off. We had a full size eddie bauer and it folds smaller than that! We love the stroller and it was well worth the money. Also if you have another little one you can buy an attatchment that allows you to carry both children with the same stroller:) It rides very smooth! Good luck.

The uppa baby stroller goes up to 50lbs and its a little more than the stroller your looking at!
